The Second Annual SCiDUC Symposium, held on June 11th, 2025, at the South Carolina Archives and History Center, was a tremendous success. The day brought together more than 200 attendees from across the state, all focused on advancing drone operations in government.

This year’s theme, "UAS Innovations: Safer, Faster, and More Effective," came to life through a dynamic lineup of speakers, including leaders from the FAA, Skydio, SCDOT, NCDOT, and NASA, who shared powerful insights on policy, training, and cutting-edge applications.

Attendees explored a packed exhibit hall filled with top-tier vendors showcasing emerging technologies and services tailored to public-sector UAS programs. The live outdoor demonstrations gave participants an up-close look at the latest drones and capabilities, including thermal imaging, confined space navigation, and tactical deployment.

The event delivered on its promise of connection, innovation, and practical knowledge, making it a must-attend for government professionals and vendors alike. Planning is already underway for 2026, and we look forward to seeing even more of you next year.
