SCiDUC’s 2023 Q3 meeting is coming up quickly.  This meeting will be all about complying with FAA's remote ID requirements.  As you may know, the FAA deadline for mandatory Remote ID compliance is September 16th.  The FAA has confirmed that they do not intend to extend this deadline.  To help guide agencies through the new regulatory requirements, SCiDUC is hosting an in-person meeting on August 23rd.  The first half of the meeting will be led by the FAA’s Remote ID Program Lead, John Picciano, who will unpack the regulations and FAA resources.  Since many drones will not meet the new regulatory requirements and require an aftermarket remote broadcast module, the second half of the meeting will be devoted to demoing several remote ID modules.
